Video from YouTube

Some product and help pages carry fitting videos filmed by our supplier, Made for Trade. They are not loaded when the page opens. What you see is a still image held on our own server, so until you press play the page makes no contact with YouTube and no YouTube cookie is set.

Pressing play loads the player from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's privacy-enhanced embed. From that point Google may set cookies on your device and record the view, under its own privacy policy rather than ours. That is why the play button takes a deliberate click: the choice is yours to make on the day, and it sits outside the accept or decline on our cookie banner.

If you would rather load nothing from Google, do not press play. Nothing else on the page depends on it.

The WhatsApp button

The button in the bottom corner is our own, not a widget loaded from Meta. Nothing is fetched from WhatsApp while you are here, no WhatsApp cookie is set, and opening the panel to read it tells them nothing.

It stores nothing on your device at all: no cookie, and nothing in local storage. Open the panel, read it and close it again, and no record of that is kept anywhere.

Pressing a question, or sending one you have typed, hands the message to WhatsApp and takes you there. From that point you are messaging us on WhatsApp, and what Meta records about that conversation is covered by their privacy policy rather than ours. The message we compose for you includes a link to the page you were on, so we can see what you are asking about, and you can edit or delete any of it in WhatsApp before you send it.
