The questions we get most

Short answers to the things worth knowing before you order.

Do I need an account?
No. Every product prices on screen without signing in, and you can order without an account too: give us an email address at checkout and the confirmation and delivery updates go there. Opening an account is offered while you check out if you want one, and it is worth having, since your orders, invoices and addresses then sit in one place ready for next time. Opening one takes a minute.
Are the prices ex VAT or inc VAT?
Both are always on screen. Trade accounts lead with the ex-VAT figure, because that is how the trade buys; if you registered as an individual, prices lead with the inc-VAT figure you actually pay. The basket, checkout and invoice all show the VAT separately either way.
Why does my configuration say “priced by quote”?
Because it falls outside the sizes and options we hold firm prices for: a size beyond the standard range, a height other than the standard one, or an option our supplier has not given us a price for yet. Nothing is wrong with the configuration, it just needs a human price. Send it over and we will come back with a firm figure, normally within one working day.
Can you make a bespoke size?
Yes. Everything we sell is made to order, so a size outside the published range is usually possible, it simply cannot be priced automatically. Configure it as close as you can and choose “request a quote”, and your sizes come through to us with the rest of the spec attached.
What is the lead time?
It depends on the product, the finish and the glass, so we confirm your date once the order is placed rather than promising a number on screen. Custom powdercoat colours are the long pole: allow noticeably longer than a stock finish. If a date is critical, ask us before you order.
What if my measurements turn out to be wrong?
A made-to-measure unit cannot be remade for free because the opening was measured wrong, which is why you confirm your sizes at checkout. It is worth ten minutes with the measuring guide first, and if there is any doubt, send us a photo of the opening with your dimensions and we will sanity-check them before anything is ordered.
Can I change or cancel an order after paying?
Get in touch straight away with your order number. Before the order reaches the manufacturer we can usually change it; once it is confirmed and in production it is being cut to your sizes, so changes may not be possible.
Do you deliver to site?
Yes, to site or to your own yard, anywhere in mainland UK. Full details, including what turns up on the pallet and what to check before you sign, are on the delivery page.
